Darius Liutikas, PhD  - chairman of Community of Lithuanian Pilgrims

Research interests:

Modern and traditional pilgrimage, sacred places and sacred spaces, Lithuanian pilgrimage sites, sociology of tourism, tourism, types and forms of tourism, tourism and identity, tourism and pilgrimage, geography of religions.

He has published around twenty articles in Lithuanian academical journals. Community of Lithuanian Pilgrims in 2009 published his monograph about manifestation of values and identity in the pilgrimages (in Lithuanian language, 2009).
